Privacy Policy
Last updated · May 29, 2026
Placeholder. The full Privacy Policy will be published here via a managed legal-document service (Termly) before public launch. The data-handling description below reflects how the product operates today and governs how we handle your data in the meantime.
What we handle
- The PDF severance agreement you upload.
- The email address you provide at checkout (only if you purchase).
- Standard request metadata (IP, user-agent) for abuse prevention.
- A first-party browser cookie that lets us return your case to you on subsequent visits.
How your PDF is handled
Your PDF is uploaded over HTTPS to a private storage bucket on Supabase. It is not publicly accessible. We send the document to Anthropic for analysis, under Anthropic’s commercial data-processing terms. Your document is not used to train any AI model. The analysis output (structured findings, COBRA math, OWBPA timeline) is stored on your case record along with the original PDF.
You can request deletion of your PDF and case at any time by emailing hello@severance.bot with the case ID shown on your report page. Deletion is permanent.
Subprocessors
- Supabase — hosting, database, file storage, authentication.
- Anthropic — language model that produces the analysis from your PDF.
- Lemon Squeezy — merchant of record for paid tiers; handles payment data we never see.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (sign-in links, receipts).
- Inngest — background-job orchestration.
- Vercel — application hosting and edge network.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share it with your employer.
- We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
- We do not use your PDF or analysis to improve our models or fine-tune anything.
Your rights
If you are in California or another US state with applicable privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA and equivalents), you have rights to access, delete, and opt out of certain processing. Email hello@severance.bot to exercise them.
